| Ramblin' in from all parts of the territory, the Moon Mountain Ramblers have drawn four musicians together to create an original high desert sound and a soulful interpretation of traditional bluegrass, jazz/swing and country tunes. The Ramblers consist of Dan McClung slappin' the double bass and blowin' the harmonica, Jenny Harada sawin' the fiddle, Joe Schulte choppin' the mandolin and Matt (Mai) Hyman pickin' the guitar and singin’. Recently voted the "Best Band in Central Oregon for 2004" by the Source publication, the Moon Mountain Ramblers have performed in festivals throughout Oregon - from the Sisters Folk Festival to the Siskiyou Bluegrass Festival to the Northwest String Summit as well as having completed their first McMenamins Tour in the summer of 2005. The Ramblers have also opened for well-known bands including the David Grisman Quintet, John Reischman and the Jaybirds and Jackstraw. |
